Holmenkollen Ski Jump

Julien De Smedt Architects

The Holmenkollen Ski Jump by JDS Architects is clad with a mesh of stainless steel and rises 58 meters in the air. Its 69m cantilever makes it the longest of its kind. Located in the hills of Holmenkollen, it offers spectacular views over Oslo and creates a new public space in the city. Its presence embodies the cultural identity of the place and its spindly profile shapes a distinctive silhouette, framing new views and opening up the imagination.
