Client: SNCF
Location: Lisieux, France
The Lisieux station footbridge is part of the station’s wider modernisation, providing an accessible link between platforms 1 to 4. More than a circulation device, it acts as a belvedere above the railway landscape, opening views towards the city and the Basilica of Sainte-Thérèse. Its Corten-steel box-girder structure is kept visually light through minimal supports, while the planted base, pine grove and accessible landscaped routes anchor the bridge within the surrounding topography. Around the station, the landscape also helps manage rainwater infiltration and creates new outdoor waiting areas.
