Pavilion of the House of Georges Clemenceau

Rebuilt by Titan Architectes after storm Xynthia, the welcome pavilion for the House of Georges Clemenceau restores the entrance to this national monument facing the Atlantic Ocean. Discreet and monolithic, the pavilion is made entirely of sand-coloured concrete, allowing it to merge with the dunes, the beach, and the mineral ground of the site. It forms a threshold between two worlds: the open horizon of the ocean and the intimate gardens shaped by Clemenceau. Its quiet volume guides visitors from the public landscape toward the museum, where memory, material, and coastal light come together.
