Qasr AlHokm Metro Station

Qasr AlHokm Metro Station sits at the heart of Riyadh’s historic centre, where infrastructure, civic space and local identity converge. Designed as a public plaza as much as a transit hub, the station is defined by a monumental polished-steel canopy that reflects the surrounding city, brings shade to the surface and channels daylight into the underground levels. Transparent train tubes, Najdi-inspired patterns and a landscaped garden 35 metres below ground give the project a layered spatial character, balancing technical precision with a distinctly local atmosphere.
