The Assinie-Mafia Church by Guillaume Koffi and Issa Diabaté sits quietly within the coastal village, its simple geometry giving the building a clear presence. A raised triangular frame defines the form, while the sheltered nave and open sides allow air and light to move through the interior.

The steep roof and porous edges respond naturally to the tropical climate. Modest in scale yet emphatic in silhouette, the church forms a place for gathering, ceremony, and reflection, grounded in the daily life of Assinie-Mafia.
