Maison Delcourt — Villa Neutra

Maison Delcourt, also known as Villa Neutra, is set within a wooded garden in the centre of Croix. Completed in 1968 for Marcel Delcourt and his family, the house is the only building Richard Neutra designed in France and one of the last projects of his career. Its slender post-and-beam structure, open plan and extensive glazing create a measured continuity between interior space and the surrounding landscape. Integrated furniture, movable partitions and locally sourced materials adapt Neutra’s modernist language to its northern French setting.
