Ourcq Jaurès

Located on the Canal de l’Ourcq in Paris’s 19th arrondissement, Ourcq Jaurès by TVK forms part of the wider transformation of a dense urban block. The project combines housing, commercial spaces, and public uses on a prominent site between the canal and the city.

Its Z-shaped geometry helps organise the block while opening a central public space. The building draws a clear urban edge, yet still allows views, crossings, and planted areas to enter the site. This balance between built form and open ground gives the project a calm, generous presence within the neighbourhood. Gardens, paths, and shared outdoor spaces bring light, greenery, and informal gathering into a busy part of Paris.
