52 Logements ZAC Arras Europe

Located at the corner of Place Méditerranée and Rue de l’Europe in Lille, this social housing project by Damien Surroca Architectes is part of the ZAC Arras Europe development. The 52 apartments are arranged in two distinct volumes that share a common architectural language.

The dwellings open toward both the street and the planted heart of the block, with corner living rooms, loggias, and terraces extending each apartment outward. At ground level, a landscaped entrance sequence creates a small place of encounter, while an activity space activates the street corner.

Low-carbon concrete and grey-beige brickwork give the façades a clear urban rhythm and a restrained material presence.
