Erdre et Parc by TANK Architectes is a housing project set into the slope of its Nantes site. Containing fifty-five dwellings, the building occupies the eastern part of the plot as a compact volume that opens toward the landscape.
Terraces, large windows, and private loggias extend the apartments toward the south and west, bringing light and outdoor space into daily life. The roof folds like an accordion, adding rhythm to the building and responding to the scale of the surrounding neighbourhood.
Clad in pine, the façade gives the project a warm domestic character. Over time, the wood will weather and deepen in tone, strengthening the relationship between the building, the park, and the changing atmosphere of the site.
