Location: Le Plessis-Bouchard, France
The Collège du Plessis-Bouchard is a secondary school in Le Plessis-Bouchard, designed by Tank Architectes for 600 pupils. The project brings together teaching spaces, a dining hall, sports areas, a playground and staff housing within a clear and generous composition. Environmental measures are integrated into the building itself, with solar panels for domestic hot water, rainwater recovery for sanitary use and planted roofs that help manage runoff. The result is a contemporary public school architecture shaped by light, material clarity and the demands of everyday use.
