Groupe Scolaire Sainte-Marthe Audisio sits on the agricultural edge of north-eastern Marseille, where the project negotiates between a future urban boulevard and the lower residential fabric below. Its stepped massing organises the school vertically, with nursery spaces at ground level, primary classrooms above, and a sports field on the roof. South-facing playgrounds open toward distant views, while the more mineral northern façade shields the classrooms from climatic and acoustic exposure. The architecture is defined by structural clarity, durability, and a restrained material palette, with prefabricated concrete lending the building a sober, legible presence in a changing neighbourhood.
