École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Strasbourg

The École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Strasbourg combines the renovation of a 1930s automobile garage with a new teaching building known as La Fabrique. Raised above the ground to open the school toward the city, the extension is organised around a four-storey central hall that supports circulation, meetings and shared learning. Its visible steel structure and large openings turn the building itself into a teaching tool, connecting architecture, materiality and public life.
