Campus ARTFX Plaine Images

Campus ARTFX brings together a school dedicated to animation and digital creation with a 500-unit student residence within the Plaine Images creative district. The 18,000 m² complex is organised around a large central atrium that acts as the social heart of the school, connecting classrooms, studios, projection rooms, a Fab Lab and shared spaces. A continuous metallic envelope, large areas of glazing and four roof oculi give the building a strong identity while preserving a fragment of the former 19th-century textile factory as part of the new campus. The project combines learning, production and student life within a single urban project.
