The extension of CNAM’s Landy 2 research building is organised around a large inhabited garden, creating places for exchange between students, researchers and staff. Shared facilities such as the library, dining area and reception spaces connect the new and existing buildings while opening directly onto the landscape. Designed as an autonomous yet functionally connected structure, the regular and repetitive layout allows classrooms, partitions and uses to be reorganised over time.
