Reale Räume was the inaugural theme of Architekturwoche Basel 2022, held from 9 to 15 May in Basel. The biennial platform for architecture and urban development, initiated by the Architektur Dialoge Foundation and curated by artistic director Chrissie Muhr, explored how globalization, digitalization, migration, climate change, and the pandemic shape everyday urban life. Julien Lanoo’s photographs focus on the atmosphere of the event and its relation to the city.
