Baud-Chardonnet Housing

Baud-Chardonnet is a residential development of 126 homes arranged around a densely planted courtyard overlooking the Vilaine. Shops, parking and a chapel form the shared base beneath five housing buildings, while double façades create generous two-storey outdoor spaces for each apartment. Perforated aluminium screens reinterpret the patterns of traditional Rennes timber-framed houses, filtering sunlight and giving each building its own identity.
