Goutte d’Or Care Centre and Reintegration Housing

In Paris’s Goutte d’Or district, this compact building brings together a care centre for people affected by drug addiction and ten reintegration apartments. Separate entrances and circulation systems keep the two programmes distinct, while a central void draws daylight and air into the plan. The façades respond differently to Boulevard de la Chapelle and Rue de Chartres, shifting in scale and character to meet the building’s dense urban setting.
