Origin, EDF Regional Headquarters

Origin by Silvio d’Ascia Architecture is an office building for EDF’s regional headquarters in the Nancy Grand Cœur eco-district. As one of the first buildings in this new urban development, it helps reconnect the historic city with the station district.

The project is composed of four mineral volumes with varied heights and proportions, echoing the layered façades of Nancy’s urban fabric. Its limestone-like materiality, clear geometry, and environmental certifications give the building a contemporary presence that still feels grounded in the city’s scale and memory.
