Campus International Lesaffre brings together the company’s principal offices and research activities within a 19-hectare landscape in northern France. Conceived as a low-scale campus rather than a conventional corporate headquarters, the project preserves existing buildings, meadows, mature trees and the site’s lake while organising offices, laboratories, pilot halls and shared facilities around them. The architecture borrows from the language and proportions of domestic buildings, creating a more intimate working environment and reinforcing the relationship between interior spaces, landscape and daily life. Larger research functions are absorbed into the wooded eastern part of the site, while offices, reception spaces and pavilions open westward toward the lake through terraces, loggias and reflective roof structures.
