Cité des Électriciens is a restored nineteenth-century mining settlement in Bruay-la-Buissière. Philippe Prost’s project preserves the historic brick housing while adding cultural spaces, artist residences, guest accommodation, and a contemporary interpretation centre. The ensemble balances industrial heritage with a renewed public use, where the repaired fabric, compact domestic scale, and surrounding atmosphere give the former mining community a clear new presence.
