Faaborg Harbour Bath

Faaborg Harbour Bath by Julien De Smedt Architects extends the harbour edge into the sea as a public bathing landscape. Wooden piers branch outward from the shore, forming protected swimming zones and creating a sequence of ramps, steps, sitting edges, children’s pools, changing rooms, and a sauna. The project brings the town closer to the water and turns bathing, walking, resting, and gathering into one shared coastal experience.
