Location: Paris, France
Located on Rue Félix-Faure in Paris’s 15th arrondissement, this 32-unit housing project mediates between the different heights, alignments and scales of the surrounding urban fabric. The street-facing building is fragmented into three stepped volumes, while a second residential block is positioned deeper within the plot, against the neighbouring cultural centre. This cascading composition creates terraces and helps the development settle into its context.
The apartments are organised to maximise natural light, with varied typologies favouring dual-aspect layouts and corner living spaces. A covered passage leads from the street toward a shared planted garden at the heart of the block, creating a protected collective space away from the activity of the street. The project also includes commercial space and parking, and was completed in 2018.
