Le Millénium

Le Millénium is a 120-unit housing development in the ZAC La Courrouze, in Rennes. The project brings together semi-buried parking, duplex neo-pavilions with individual entrances, and larger collective housing in a compact composition set around a planted central garden. Loggias, patios and the internal garden extend domestic life outward, softening the transition between private space and the wider urban fabric. Delivered in 2013, the development was designed to the BBC-Effinergie low-energy standard.
