Maison pour Tous de Four

The Maison pour Tous in Four is a flexible community building for a small municipality in Isère. Developed through a collaborative design-and-build process involving architects, researchers, teachers and architecture students, the project brings contemporary construction into dialogue with local earthen-building traditions. Its envelope combines rammed earth, wood-fibre insulation and timber elements, giving the civic building a close material relationship with its rural setting while supporting a versatile space for local activities.
