In the hills of the Pays d’Auge, Maud Caubet Architectes extends a traditional Norman longère with a discreet addition in wood and glass. The project opens the house toward its surrounding vegetation, creating a quiet continuity between domestic life and the landscape.
Built with local craftsmen, the extension is almost invisible in its structure. Its glazed façade brings light deep into the interior, while the elongated green roof restores a layer of vegetation and supports the biodiversity of the site.
