Vera Michalski-Hoffmann created the Jan Michalski Foundation for Writing and Literature in memory of her husband, to support those devoted to the written word. Beneath a monumental canopy, a campus designed by Mangeat Wahlen Architects brings together a library, an auditorium, and writers’ residences by Kengo Kuma, Studio Elemental with +2 Architects, Schaub-Zwicky, Rintala Eggertsson, MK27, Fuhrimann-Hächler, Jean-Gilles Décosterd, and Atelier Bonnet.
