Arthron

Arthron is a residential building in Cologne’s Bayenthal district, set between a dense urban block and a quieter neighbourhood of detached houses. Its curved corner works as a hinge between these two conditions. Meandering concrete elements shape the façade, forming balconies, loggias, and shifting bands of light and shadow. Stepped upper floors, timber-framed openings, and sheltered outdoor spaces give the building a sculptural presence while supporting privacy and everyday city living.
