Location: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, India
Mumbai–Ahmedabad: Urban Transects is a photographic study of the contemporary Indian city as a continuously evolving territory. Moving between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, the series traces the urban and infrastructural landscapes that link them, observing how architecture, mobility, commerce, housing, and informal occupation overlap across rapidly changing environments.
Rather than focusing on isolated buildings, the work reads the city as a network of relationships between density, infrastructure, landscape, and everyday life. The journey itself becomes part of the study, revealing the spaces between major urban centres as active territories shaped by development, movement, and adaptation.
