Shenzhen Energy Mansion

Shenzhen Energy Mansion is a 220-metre office tower designed for the headquarters of Shenzhen Energy Company. In Julien Lanoo’s photographs, the building’s folded façade reads as a careful balance of transparency and depth, alternating open and shaded surfaces to filter light, reduce heat gain, and frame views across Shenzhen. Landscaped rooftops add a layer of green outdoor space to the tower’s upper levels, softening its profile within the dense urban skyline.
