Ping An Finance Centre

Ping An Finance Centre in Shenzhen, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, is a 600-meter headquarters tower for Ping An Insurance Company. Rising in the city’s central business district, the tower combines office floors with retail, conference facilities, and connections to the surrounding commercial and transport network.

The building’s stone and glass exterior rises from a substantial podium, with chevron-like vertical elements giving the façades a strong, measured rhythm. At street level, the retail terraces open toward a public space, while a central atrium brings daylight into the interior and shapes a large vestibule for meeting, shopping, and dining.

Seen in the context of Shenzhen’s rapid transformation, the tower operates both as a corporate landmark and as part of the city’s expanding urban skyline.
