Birkegade Rooftop

Birkegade Rooftop transforms the roof of a dense residential block in Copenhagen into a shared landscape for residents. Above three new penthouses, the 900-square-metre terrace combines a playground, suspension bridge, grass-covered hill, viewing platform, outdoor kitchen, and a quiet wooden deck. The project turns an overlooked urban surface into a place for recreation, greenery, and everyday gathering, bringing a rare collective horizon to the heart of the city.
