The Iceberg

Set on the former container terminal of Aarhus harbour, The Iceberg is part of the city’s wider waterfront transformation and anchors the new residential district of Aarhus Ø. Its faceted volumes bring a sharp, directional presence to the harbour edge, with breaks and peaks that give each apartment light, views, and a distinct relationship to the bay. Read in changing daylight, the building shifts between solid mass and open composition: a cluster of white and blue forms that rises from the waterline with a deliberately fractured silhouette.
