Inspired by Marvin Koner’s iconic 1961 photograph The Mad Men of Modern Design, featuring George Nelson, Edward Wormley, Eero Saarinen, Harry Bertoia, Charles Eames and Jens Risom, and originally created for Playboy, I made this portrait to capture and preserve a notable moment in Vitra’s history.
