TWENTYTHIRTYFIVE

TWENTYTHIRTYFIVE was an installation by Virgil Abloh for the Vitra Campus, conceived as a domestic environment for a young adult in the year 2035. Presented through familiar objects, experimental arrangements and references to Jean Prouvé’s Antony chair and Petite Potence wall lamp, the project explored how future homes might become more flexible, personal and responsive to changing ways of living. The installation sits between design, art and interior space, and its photographic reading benefits from the tension between exhibition setting and imagined everyday use.
